My 3ggf was Noble TAYLOR, b 1776 in Albemarle Co, VA (not verified). He definitely came to Belmont Co shortly after 1800. His wife was Elizabeth LOCKWOOD 5 Feb 1778 - 6 Apr 1830. They were married 16 Oct 1798 in Cecil Co Maryland, so I had assumed her family was from there. Maybe they were, but I have found out that there were other LOCKWOODs in Belmont Co very early. I would like to hear from anyone who knows anything about them and would be most happy to exchange information. TIA, Jan
