Hi Listers, The other night I passed along something that was told to me by the clerks in the Belmont probate court office--that records for guardianship are handled just like adoptions--closed. I have had several messages to the fact that this is not necessarily true, and more or less substantiated by feelings about the situation. So disregard what was meant to be helpful, and if you need guardianship papers for your research---then go for it!!! :-) Sorry to have passed on erroneous info. Nancy
