Not certain if that is Cambria Twp in Cambria Co., PA or just Cambria Co., His place of birth is listed on his marriage license of 1885 in Benwood, Marshall co., WV. He was living in Belmont Co., Ohio (just across the Ohio River) at the time of application for marriage. He married Lydia J. EBELING/EBERLING of Benwood. GUESSTIMATION is....................... In the 1860 census of Cambria co., PA, parents b/Wales, I found a David b/1838 in Ohio with wife Mary, b/PA with a child Alice age one. My Abram/Abraham/A.M. was born in October 1860. In the 1880 census of Braddock, Allegheny co., PA, I later found a David b/1838 in Ohio, with wife, Mary, and children: Alice 21, Abram 19, James 17, Annie 11, Margarett 9, Smilda 7, all born in PA & Nathaniel age 4 b/OH Also a John Attic (0ther) b/PA Near by I found a Griffith Thomas, 70 with wife, Jane 74 , (both born Wales) with son, Alex 33. In 1870 census of Millville, Cambria Co., PA I find Griffith 59, wife Jane 66, (both of Wales) and son Alex 22 b/PA. Online I found a family....... (SAME FAMILY???) Griffith Thomas and wife, Jane and children.......... Mary A. b/about 1837 of NY, NY DAVID B/ABOUT 1838 OHIO Margaret b/about 1841 of Bradys Bend, Armstrong, PA. (I think she m/John Hughes) Elizabeth b/about 1844 same ALEXANDER b/about 1847 same Ellen b/about 1849 same ANOTHER KINK/POSSIBILITY.............. In the history of Welsh community of Pike Twp, Bradford co., PA.......... In 1825 a family arrived from Wales, including.......... David and wife, Hannah (Griffith) & Hannah's brother Reese Griffith/Griffis. with children: Hannah, Margaret, David, Thomas, Sarah, and Griffith. Father, David, dies within six weeks of arriving in Pike Twp. & Margaret and Sarah die within two/three years............. Daughter Hannah m/David Williams and migrates to Minnesota. On the ship William Byrnes form Liverpool, I find this family along with Rees Griffith and David Williams. Anyone connected to any of these families that can prove or disprove the above data??
