Word has been received of the passing Of Edward Benajah Burcher of Melbourne, Florida on March 12, 2004. Edward Burcher was born December 14, 1921 in Somerton, Ohio and lived there with his family on the old Burcher Homestead prior to World War II. He was the son of Garfield Abram Burcher and Bessie Alta Casebeer Burcher. He was preceeded in death by three months by his sister Alice Burcher Conaway and is survived by his wife, Eleanor Elizabeth Windom Burcher (formerly from Barnesville, Ohio), his daughter and son-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. Frank Klemm, 4 grandsons, and his brother James Arthur Burcher of Barnesville, Ohio. The body was interred at Florida Memorial Gardens in Rockledge, Florida, March 16, 2004. Numerous family and friends were in attendance.
