FYI In the current edition of the Ohio Genealogical Society Quarterly (Vol. 47, No. 1, March 2007) is an index on Ohioans in the State of Kansas from the "History of State of Kansas," William G. A.; Belmont; 1869; Anderson; 1328 KNIGHT, R. H.; Belmont; Dec. 1880; Allen; 678 Also there is a letter from Alexander Campbell to his son, Alexander dated 10 Nov 1830. There is an indication that this would be for Jefferson Co., Ohio, but I know that there is mention of an Alexander Campbell in Belmont Co. also. It mentions 2 sisters of Alexander Jr.and 2 brothers; Ketren (married to John McCattan?) who named a son Alexander and Mary who married 13 Apr. last to William Collins and that they live in Whilling (Wheeling- sic); Andrew who died on 21 Sep 1830, not married; Gorge (George-sic?) & wife recently had another child...not named.
