Ruth Ann FRAME/FROME/FROMM married Elisha Phipps NEWLIN, son of James and Sarah Phipps NEWLIN, of Fallowfield, Chester Co, PA. Ruth and Elisha lived in Chester till around 1855, when they and their children emigrated to Belmont County, Ohio. The Newlins were Quakers, although Ruth and children , later, were Presbyterians in Ohio, and I've never found any Quaker ties to the family in Ohio..Elisha died before 1860, and Ruth Ann, in 1900. She is buried in Union Cemetery, in St Clairsville, but I've never found where Elisha was buried.. I know nothing of Ruth Ann's parents, though not for lack of trying! It's always possible that they could have been from Ohio, which would explain why Elisha and Ruth left a farm and mill in PA to move to Belmont Co.. Thus, I'm interested in any Frame/Fromm/Frome living in Belmont or adjacent cos, Ohio, that might have been a parent of Ruth Ann, born in 1818.
