Thank you Pam, I don't know an exact date. I am using census that her and her daughter were on and then the grandmother is taking care of the daughter. She was on a boat trip on the river and drown while with husband and friends. So she was alive in 1910 and gone by 1920 so that is where I get my dates. Hello Cindy: This should narrow down the death year a bit. I find where Elle Howe remarries in Belmont Co., OH Marriage records: Howard H. Hepburn 22 Belmont Co. Ella Howe 21 (Widow) Belmont Co. Married Mar 12,1911 Parents names Theodore H. Hepburn & Laura (Mahaffee) Alex & Lydia (Williams) Eddy Next then I Find Howard now a (Widow) remarries: Howard Harold Hepburn age 24 (Widow) Belmont Co., OH Hattie H. Hickman age 19 Tyler Co., WV ; Belmont Co. Married Apr 7,1912 Parents names: Theodore H. Hepburn & Laura (Mahaffe) James & Laura (Clark) Conclusion: Death date is between March 12,1911 and April 7,1912 More than likely the summer months of 1911. Nothing came up on my search of WV deaths ,but that date is not in Ohio Co. WV online Data Best bet is to try and search Bellaire Leader or Wheeling newspapers for the Accident story or an Obit.
