I'm not sure this will be a help, but it's what I found in early tax records. 1806 Belmont Co lists a David, James, John and Wm Campbell.....this tax record doesn't include twps. 1810 has Andrew, James and William, all in Wheeling twp. There is also a Thomas Camble in Pease twp. "Does anyone on the list have information regarding the three Campbell brothers (John, James and William) who settled in Belmont/Jefferson County from Washington County, PA in the late 1790s/early 1800s?"
Thx Sandra. No doubt that is them. Trying to find Entrymen records which is SUPPOSED to list more information on their origin, birthplace, etc etc etc. Appreciate your assistance and effort.
