Where could I call or write to request orphan court papers from around 1830-1840, Pultney Township, Belmont County, Ohio? Contact the Belmont County Courthouse. All of the records you are asking about fall under the jurisdiction of the Probate Court. I can't remember off the top of my head whether or not it's called "Orphan's Court" in Ohio, or not. I believe it is called the Guardianship Dockets, but I could be wrong - too much research in PA the last year or so! All of the estate files will also be held by Probate court. Good Luck!
