Also, will testators index for Belmont county, Ohio lists a George Powell, no town listed, probate in Vol G-360 [1839-1845]. A George Powel in 1820/1830 Belmont county census resided Wayne Twp. In 1830 he was age 60-70. Abraham Lash's 2nd wife, Jane F. Smith, was sister of my ancestress, Ruth Smith. I have only limited info about the Lash family, but do know that Abraham Lash and wives Nancy and Jane are buried in Farmington Cemetery, Colrain Twp.
