One of my uncles, living in Colorado, married an Inez B. Parker. She was the foster child of a family, whose head of the family was John Elkins. This info was shown (permission to marry) at the time of the Colorado marriage in 1917. It also stated that she was born in 1900 in Illinois. I'd like very much to find her family, although I have not been able to do so for the past 20 years. I have been unable to find her listed on any census records for that time period.
