My ggggrandfather William M. CLINE married Nancy NORMAN in Belmont Co, OH in 1838; they had 13 children. I recently saw a Legal Notice in the 5 May 1891 Wheeling Register indicating that the living CLINE children and their husbands (listed by name), and several BROWNs should "protect their interests" in the will of Elizabeth CAMPBELL, wife of deceased Robert J. CAMPBELL. Robert had died in 1887, and his will left everything to his wife (the couple had no children), but specified that upon her death a couple people, including Lizzie CLINE, would receive money. Robert CAMPBELL's obituary indicates his wife's maiden name was NORMAN. This would lead me to believe Elizabeth would be the CLINE children's aunt, and sister to Nancy NORMAN, b 1818. Further support for this is that one of Nancy's sisters (Sarah) married a William BROWN, and some of the BROWNs listed in the Legal Notice have the same name as their children. Also, Elizabeth CAMPBELL's obit indicates she would have been born ca 1815, within an acceptable time for the NORMAN family. Can anyone confirm Elizabeth CAMPBELL IS Nancy NORMAN's sister? I don't have her listed, but it's certainly possible I don't have all the children's names, or Elizabeth is going by a middle name rather than her first name.
