I am looking for information on Alfred, son of Samuel Russell of Loudoun, Va and Sarah Moore of Virginia. His father, arrived in Blemont County, Ohio in 1804 due to his early position on slavery and is mentioned in REPRESENTATIVE CITIZENS OF MARION COUNTY, OHIO 1907 HISTORY _http://www.heritagepursuit.com/Marion/History1907/MHR.htm_ (http://www.heritagepursuit.com/Marion/History1907/MHR.htm) However little is known about Alfred who left this earth at the age of 31, in the year 1840. His short life puzzles me and he left young children one of them was my 2GG Grandfather, Otho S. Russell at the age of 8. I am equally puzzled about his spouse, Marguerite [Payne] Russell since she obviously was young [age 30] and could easily remarry which she must of to raise such a young family and she may have moved onto Morrow County, Ohio near Cardington. I would appreciate any shed of evidence this man walked this earth and lived and died in Belmont County, Ohio. Below I have enclosed what I have about him as well as his direct descendents. William Haney Russell was born May 31, 1839 in Belmont Co, Ohio and died 1900. v. 6. Wesley Russell was born March 01, 1840 in Belmont Co, Ohio and died July 19, 1921. vi.
