Does anyone know if death certs were issued for WWI soldiers KIA, and if so, where they might be filed? I have information on a Belmont Co. cousin who was killed in action and is buried in France, and I have a pic of the cemetery and of his gravesite. What I would now like is a copy of the death cert.
