Seeking information on the McMillin (any spelling) family. BIOS's of the husbands of these two women both state their father as William. Elizabeth (born 6 July 1786) married Jacob Beem/Beam ca 1810 and Nancy (born ca 1789) married Robert Hardesty 5 January 1809. Any help in finding information about these families would be appreciated. Especially interested in Elizabeth's husband, Jacob Beam and his ancestors. Thanks Merry Anne

I looked in the History of Belmont and found another Elizabeth Beam...this one was married to a George Beam, and was living in the area in the mid 1800s...in Richland twp. I looked at the CD of Ohio Marriages, looking for an early Beem/Beam marriage for potential parents for Jacob....no luck, but I did see there are about 12 marriages in the 1800s, for various Jacob Beams...who'd have thunk there'd be that many (none with Elizabeth, though).
