    3. What fun , and weren't you the lucky duck! This is just the sort of great thing that can happen with our hobby and I'm tickled for you! Be sure you get the EXACT address and directions to the house....don't wait....... I've never found anything else about John Berry 1763-1827, his parents or possible siblings.....John is mentioned as a first settler in Richland Twp, but no other Berrys are in the list. I find a Samuel as being in Warren twp, and the first teacher in the 1st Friends School....in 1806. According also to the CENTENNIAL HISTORY OF BELMONT CO, a Samuel Berry had the first fulling mill in Wayne twp, 1824....he was also a Quaker, so these 2 Samuels may be the same fellow. I looked in the Quaker meeting records in Ohio and found quite a few Berrys....several Samuels among them.....and a Jesse Berry, who was married to an Esther, and having children in the 1840s....could this be your Jesse? a DAvid and Hanna Berry had a son named Samuel......the early 1800s, etc "My" Berrys weren't Quakers, but if yours could have been, check out the Hindshaw records.....
