I also received his wife's death certificate, Margaret Harris Griffiths of 823 Main Street in Martins Ferry. The poor lady died of third degree burns caused from her clothes catching fire from the stove, at age 73. This was 28 Dec 1934. I wondered if any of you had any access to the obituaries for Martins Ferry for Dec. 1934? I would like get the obituary notice for her. Is that possible? The informant was her daughter, Mrs. Howard Irvin of 519 N. 5th Street in Martins Ferry. Thank you for any clues or tips you may be able to provide.
