There have been some requests on this list regarding the Belmont County Children's Home. There is some info available at the Ohio Historical Society (GR 3903 -- whatever that stands for). The Belmont County Children's Home was demolished in 1990. Some records from 1880 to 1981 of Register of Admittances and Indentures can be found at the Belmont County Department of Human Services, 310 Fox Shannon Place, St. Clairsville OH 43950 (740-695-1074). A small cemetery still exists near the site of the former Children's Home near Barnesville. Hope this helps. Barb
