    3. I am looking for any information which someone might have regarding a BARRON family which lived in Belmont County in the 1840's. The records I have are quite sparse, but they keep popping up in my CAPSTACK/ICK family history and I'm hoping leads about them may help me track my ancestors down. What I already know: David BARRON married my ancestor, Elizabeth CAPSTICK (in the record as KAPSTICK), in 1840. A William BARRON testified for her son Jonathan's citizenship in 1849 (see also my other post!). William of Washington Township (1850), who had a wife Sarah, at least applied for and probably received a civil war pension, although I don't know what unit he was in (it wasn't the 157th OVI). Interestingly, a Sarah BARRON appears in Bridgeport (p.84) of the 1840 census. That's all I can tell you -- can anyone help me out? -- Tim Capstack laurantim@earthlink.net

    3. Tim - I don't know if this is part of your ancestors or not but in the 1850 census for Belmont Co. I found listed: 53-53 Washington Twp.
