Wilson Funeral home in Bridgeport was originally Adolph Funeral home. Howard Wilson married one of the Adolph girls and later took over the business and it became Wilson's. It did stay in the family.and they have been in the business for a long time. Charlie Wilson, now the owner is a grandson of old Howard Wilson. I am guessing it started in the late 1800's or 1900.
