Death was attributed to a stroke of paralysis a few days previous. Mrs. Holtsclaw was aged 77 years, and was a daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Henry MOWDER. John Mowder of Woodsfield is a brother. Her husband preceded her in death sixteen years ago. Their family of nine children are all living and are as follows: Fred, of Belmont, Oh; George & Williard of Woodsfield; James of Sardis, R.2; Henry & Mrs. Gene Roth, of Woodsfield, R. 5; Mrs. D. J. Yoss, of Woodsfield, R. 1; Mrs. Olive Jeffers and Miss Martha at home. Funeral services were held this Thursday at 1 o'clock at Ott's M.E. Chruch, in charge of her pastor, Rev. J.L. Baker. She was a member of that church for many years, and a devout Christian woman.
