Pat, I have 2 John Myers, father and son. The elder John is also married to a Margaret (JEFFERS), but the dates are wrong. John Sr. was b. ca. 1840 and John (C.) Jr. was born ca. 1871. The elder John was the s/o James Myers and Mary HATHORN. James was the one who died young. Mary HATHORN was the sister (I think) of my gr-gr-grandmother, Louisa Ann Hathorn. This line married into my Hathorn line, but there was another Myers (Samuel B.) who married into my Lashley line (Mary). I don't yet have a wife for John C. Myers. I just ordered another copy of the "History of Belmont & Jefferson Cos., OH" from Higginson Books. They are doing a reprint on it. With shipping will cost in the range of $80-$90. It has an index while mine does not, altho. I do have an index on film, that I had the Ohio Historical Society film for me.
