Looking for information on Mary Catherine TOWNSEND, b ca 1819 in OH (probably SE OH, ie. Belmont Co or surrounding counties). I have no information on her other than she married William J. WELLS on 29 May 1838 in Harrison Co, OH, settled in Belmont Co, OH, and had 10 children. Since the WELLS were Quaker, the TOWNSEND family may also be Quakers.
