I can't help you with the newspaper article, but I am wondering about your Eddy family. I am descended from Leander (d. ~1930)and Elizabeth Eddy(d.~1932). Leander lived with an Isaac Eddy, but does not appear to be Isaac's son, since there is an older Leander in the household as well. Wondering if any of this might ring a bell with you.....
