A wonderful place to submit your photos and records is the usgenweb archives....each county in each state has a section devoted to it. This site will allow you to select first the state, then the county, and see what others have submitted. (all counties are different, some much better than others, but all probably have something of interest )http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/ this is the section for Ohio http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/oh/ohfiles.htm
Does anyone know if the Belmont county rootsweb site is still maintained? I didn't have any luck emailing the addresses available when I had a will to submit. jae On May 2, 2007, at 4:03 PM, Sandra Ferguson wrote: > A wonderful place to submit your photos and records is the usgenweb > archives....each county in each state has a section devoted to it. > This > site will allow you to select first the state, then the county, and > see what > others have submitted. Jae, I don't know about the Belmont Co. website, but you can submit transcriptions of wills and all sorts of other original items to OHFootsteps. It's listed on the same list of rootsweb mailing lists as all the county lists. It's a really nice way for folks with interests all over Ohio to see stuff. Joanne Gaudio
