For what it is worth, and these are family records that may be wrong, my records say Chandler Taylor served in Company G of the 98th Ohio, so possibly there were more companies than the ones in your list, or maybe he enlisted somewhere else, probably a nearby county. What I gave wasn't very complete. Chandler's brother, Philander Chase Taylor 1846-1865, also served in the 98th, Company I, and was killed in the war 5 Jan 1865. Finally, Chandler's (later) brother-in-law Albert Skaggs was also in that regiment, Company G. Jan
