>In 1802, Wm Hodgin and Wm Patten of GA arranged with Jonathan Taylor of Mt Pleasant, Jefferson Co, who lived at one time in Barnesbville, to secure a section of land in Warren twp for each of them, a section being the smallest acreage then subject to entry.
