I had not heard of this book before. Last year you did a look up for me in the CENTENNIAL HISTORY OF BELMONT COUNTY. Thank you for anything you might find on them. >In 1802, Wm Hodgin and Wm Patten of GA arranged with Jonathan Taylor of Mt Pleasant, Jefferson Co, who lived at one time in Barnesbville, to secure a section of land in Warren twp for each of them, a section being the smallest acreage then subject to entry. They arrived early in 1803 with their families together with Wm's brother Stephen Hodgin and several others., and found the land already bought as previously arranged. Sandra Sandra.
