I don't know if this will help or not, but my ancestor Marium Davis Smith came from Bucks Co., PA. Many of the settlers in Belmont Co., were Quakers and came from Bucks Co., PA. There was also a lot of people from Indiana Co., Westmoreland Co., and Fayette and Washington Co., PA. Your Davis family might not be the same one as I am working on, but I would try that county at least.
