Hi, I'm descended from Christian Troll whose family came from Waldeck in 1859. He was a cousin to Frank and Conrad who lived in St. Clairsville. There was also a Lewis who settled in Wheeling, but I have nothing on him. I believe, from looking at Wheeling census records, that there was another Troll family there which came from another part of Germany. I have everything I could find in the Landau, Waldeck church records on the Trolls, and nothing matches with the Wheeling Trolls who say they're from Germany. Ruth
