Looking for any information on Israel or John Bebout(Beabout) who lived in Wayne Township between 1830-1840. Israel moved to Beallsville after the 1840 census and John disappeared before the 1840 census was taken. Would like to try and find where their land was located or what may have happened to John. He is the only John Bebout listed in 1840 OH census 1850 OH Jefferson Co Island Creek tsp p 31 & 32 of 41 on ancesty.com John Bebout 33 PA Margaret " 43? PA Ellen " 19 OH Johul " 15 OH Daniel " 13 OH Adulmer? " 11 OH Edwin " 9 OH James " 6 OH ? " 4 OH Alphus " 1 OH You didn't state when they were born so I don't know if this info helps you or not.
