    3. Nothing, sorry. However, I have a suggestion . Have you checked with Sandy Day at the Schiappa Library in Steubenville? Although she is in Jeff. county, she found an ancestor for me in a different county.....she just looked in all her cemetery books. The cost is minimal (email her for the charge, for I don't remember what it is.......I just sent her $10.00 and considered it cheap at the price!) daysa@oplin.lib.oh.us Sandy Day c/o Schiappa Memorial Library 4141 Mall Drive Steubenbille, Ohio 43952 I don't know if you're aware of it or not, but Mt. Pleasant was established in the late 1700s by a religious group called the Seceder's. They were a group of Presbyterians who broke with the Scottish Church over differences, and some came to the US and established Seceder Churches here, in the colonies. My own family, the Joseph Smiths, members at Mt. Pleasant, had come originally from York County, PA, and I assume may have emigrated to the Mt. Pleasant area because there was a Seceder group there. I have checked the names of those buried in the Old Seceder Cemetery at Mt. Pleasant and find the following Scotts, which I include, in case there may be some relationship with Job; Jane, Benjamin, Wm, Sharon, John, HElen, William, Sarah...sorry, but no dates are included in this source. The Benjamin Scott, above, was a Rev. war soldier, and d. Aug 6, 1849, at 86. a Nevin Scott who dl 1844 and is buried in E. Springfield Cem, also served as a Rev. War soldier. There was also a large contingent of Quakers in the area, and Mt. Pleasant had (and is still in existance) the Yearly meeting house, where all Quakers in a several state area met once a year. The building is huge (held 200 people), is made of brick and still an imposing site. So, you might want to check some Ohio Quaker records. I found 2 Scotts listed in the Quaker cemetery near Richmond; James and Sarah.. In the one Near Smithfield; Rachel, and Wood Scott are buried. Neither of the above faiths may be your ancestor's, but it's worth looking into.
