Looking for anyone researhing the Family or Descendents of John Lewis & Nancy Eastwood (stepdaughter of Wiliam Beach. This from 1811, Mead Twp to present, Businessburgh area....Children were Eliza Jane Jeremiah Margaret Luther William Louisa Marion (Francis Marion, school teacher) George Washington (Possibly Civil War volunteer) John (my grandfather) Charlotte(d. Denver Colorado, 1935 Some marriages were to the Aults, Workmans, Garritts, McPherson & Ogilbee or Ogilbee. all occuring in the 1840 to 1870's or so.....This family basically stayed in Mead Twp, and not to be confused with the Lewis's up around Barnsville. John was a carpenter near Businessburgh until his death in 1888, Nancy lived at the same location until 1896 I'm haveing trouble keeping track of the children listed above.....There could possible still be descendents of some in the Belmont Co., area. Any suggestions, or help would be much appreciated.
