Photo CD available at the Bellaire Public Library and/or Bellaire Hardware. Photographs are mostly from the early 1900's (scanned from a collection at the Bellaire Public Library); However there are about 14 photos of current Bellaire Landmarks. CDs can be found at Bellaire Hardware (Call Bernie at (740) 671-1117) for $10 you get a CD of 53 historical photos and 14 current photos of Bellaire. 25% of the money gets donated to the Bellaire Public Library. Bellaire Library only has about 3 CDs available for purchase, but the bulk of the cds for sale I presume may be found by contacting the Hardware store. Examples of photos can be found at: http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Amphitheatre/4617/house_that_jack_built.htm (House That Jack Built top photograph) Also some can be found at: http://www.cityofbellaire.com/Historic.HTM Thanks, Patty (Drummond) Fuchs Bellaire Public Library librarian __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? The latter web site's page is about 1.4 Megs, quite a download for most modems. Perhaps if it were made into 7-8 pages, more folks could and would access it. John McWilliams
