Another group of people to contact would be the Belmont County State & Federal Representatives & Senators. I'm sure they would be glad to help you find some funding for this preservation project. It's an election year after all right? In an election year,I have found, the officials are more than likely to help you. I was lucky enough to get a $500,000.00 grant,a few years ago, to start the funding to build a new public library in my county in IN. This money came from our State Lottery money. My State Senator helped me get this grant. Of course it cost more than a half million to build it but the State Lottery Grant sure helped get the project off the ground!
