    3. Have come up with additional info on my SMITH line which I hope will help me to turn up some new connections out there. Harriet SMITH b abt 1830 OH and Charles R. WOODS b abt 1820 PA marry abt 1847, and they are in Pease Twp, Belmont Co on the 1850 Census with their 1-y.o. son, Lewis. By 1860 they are in Linn Co, Iowa and their children now include Lewis, Charles, Presilla/Persilla (?) and Dexter. They move to Warren Co, Iowa by the 1870 Census and they have these additional children: Ella, Hittie, Effie and twins, Lenora Fay and Eldora May. Harriet SMITH WOODS is a widow on the 1880 Census - still in Warren Co, Iowa - and the children still with her are Lewis, Dexter, Ella, Effie, Lenora and Eldora. Eldora May WOODS marries Frank G. BAXTER abt. 1893 and they move to Weld Co, CO. Harriet SMITH WOODS is believed to be the sister of my ggrandfa, Samuel B. SMITH, also b Belmont Co, OH, and their parents were Elizabeth CALLAGHAN/CALLAHAN and Joseph SMITH whose other children were Noah, James D., John W., Hester Ann, William, Mary A., Joseph, and a Lucy who may have been a grand-dau rather than a dau. Did this shake loose any more researchers of this SMITH line? Regards, Nancy Edwards (researching: CALLAGHAN/CALLAHAN, CLINK, CRISWELL, EDWARDS, FOX/FUCHS, LINEBERGER, SCHOTT/SCHUTT/SHUTT, SMITH, TOTTERDALE, and others)
