My brick wall is William Mercer born in 1824 Washington Co. PA. He married Clarinda Mckisson of Morristown in 1845 they live in Belmont according to the 1850 census. My surnames connected to Belmont Co.,OH. are: Windham/Windom,Card,Bowie & Drake. George Windham & Mary Card moved to Belmont Co.from Loudoun Co.,VA. before 1813. They were orginally from MD. They had 11 children. I descend through their daughter Meriah"Maria" who married William Bowie on 30 June 1820 in Belmont Co. At this point I have no idea who Mary Card's parents were as well as William Bowie's parents. William Bowie was born in VA. in 1791-2. Those are brick walls for me. My Grandfather Drake's first cousin was William Garfield Drake. He died in Belmont Co. in 1971. He had 2 wives & 17 children. Anybody know these families please contact me. Thanks!
