    1. [OHBELMON-L] Bickerton, Crozier 1900s
    2. Martha Johnson
    3. Looking for a Bickerton Family researcher who may have a Thomas S. Bickerton. 1849-1937, buried at Greenwood Cem in Bellaire, Ohio. Other names of these Bickerton's in Greenwood are Elizabeth, Lewis, margaret, Mary, Myrtle, and William. This family also related to the Dunfee family, as Thomas Bickerton is listed as the purchaser of grave lots for Mrs. Sarah H. Dunfee who died July 1913. I am interested in the name Crozier, which is on one side of the Bickerton monument. Interested in learning how these two families are connected, and if the Crozier is connected to my Crozier family of Ralph Crozier or one of his sons. Martha

    3. Photo CD available at the Bellaire Public Library and/or Bellaire Hardware. Photographs are mostly from the early 1900's (scanned from a collection at the Bellaire Public Library); However there are about 14 photos of current Bellaire Landmarks. CDs can be found at Bellaire Hardware (Call Bernie at (740) 671-1117) for $10 you get a CD of 53 historical photos and 14 current photos of Bellaire. 25% of the money gets donated to the Bellaire Public Library. Bellaire Library only has about 3 CDs available for purchase, but the bulk of the cds for sale I presume may be found by contacting the Hardware store. Examples of photos can be found at: http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Amphitheatre/4617/house_that_jack_built.htm (House That Jack Built top photograph) Also some can be found at: http://www.cityofbellaire.com/Historic.HTM Thanks, Patty (Drummond) Fuchs Bellaire Public Library librarian __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? 3. Once again.....don't open ANY unexpected emails, even if reportedly from friends; if one arrives, email and ask your friend if they have send you an email with an attachment. If they haven't, then you both will know that they are infected, and their computer is sending out virus to everyone in their address book. They will need to take care of the problem, and you need to delete unopened the email with the attachment...then, to to your deleted box and delete it from there, too. To keep from ever becoming infected with any virus, just don't open any unexpected email attachment and you'll never have a problem. (until they come up with something else!) -----Original Message----- From: Carol Montrose <cmontrose@beol.net> To: OHBELMON-L@rootsweb.com <OHBELMON-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Saturday, December 02, 2000 5:01 PM Subject: [OHBELMON-L] Fw: VIRUS WARNING > >> The ANTIGEN virus protection program at the University of >> Kansas has already intercepted several messages addressed >> to various of our lists. 1. [OHBELMON-L] A couple of questions?
    2. 1st can anyone tell me when it became a law that deaths were registered in the state of Ohio and who they were orginally registered with? 2nd Can anyone tell me anything about the "Old Dutch Cemetery" and if there is a "Butcher" cemetery in the area or something simular? 3rd question Is there somewhere to get copies of school records from the "Old Dutch School" near the "Old Dutch Cemetery" I wish I was near so I wouldn't have to bother with such questions but being in Texas makes getting local information limited. I do appreciate all of you that are able and willing to assist. Thanks Autumn

    1. [OHBELMON-L] SMITH/PARITGE
    2. I haven't tried this person before. Aaron Smith born 1823 and died January 1870 according to our family records was married to a Mary Ann Paritge. I am not sure about the spelling of her last name, but have no other information on this name. Accordingly Aaron was killed in an avalanche out west delivering mail. Does anyone have any idea of this family? Who might Mary Ann be? The parents were in Monroe Co., in 1850 but not Aaron. I don't know if he was a pony express person and left wife in Ohio or if they had moved west, but total dead end on this person. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. 3. I visited both The Point and the Omni Center, requesting info on a screen saver supposedly being done by Skip. I left my name and email at the Point (with Skip's father) requesting info, and did the same at the Omni (with the woman who owns the shop that will be selling them.) When I got home I emailed both places, and hearing nothing, send inquiries via snail mail, including a SASE.....neither hat the curtsey to reply. So, good luck to anyone dealing with either place! -----Original Message----- From: Saundra A Saboley <ssaboley@juno.com> To: OHBELMON-L@rootsweb.com <OHBELMON-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Friday, November 24, 2000 3:47 PM Subject: [OHBELMON-L] Belmont County Times Leader Newspaper > > >Something of interest for those researching ancestors from Belmont >County: > >Beginning Monday, Nov. 27, The Times Leader On-line (Belmont County) will >post death notices from the preceding week.
