When placing a query, you'll stand a lot better chance of getting help if you include some sort of dates, even if only approximate ones....or, in your case, the year of the census you refer to. Looking for any information on Gabriel Forrest, or any other Forrest family for that matter - Gabriel died in Washington Co., Ohio, but was on census records of Belmont Co. Marge
Does anyone have an Idea where I might find the death records of my great grandfather JAMES CONNERS? D- 29 Dec. 1904 in Bellaire Ohio. I have his obit from the Wheeling register. He was an elected assessor for over 10 years. his obit starts out,"One of the best known residents in Bellaire died..." So there must be death records somewhere. The year is important in determining where to look. Jerry Conners

I would like to know where Weeks or maybe called Bridgeport Cemetery is located. I think my Mother and Grandparents are buried there. I have been gone from that area some 60 years and I don't have much info to go on. No living relatives there either. If someone would be kind enough to look up an address and maybe a phone number for that Cemetery, I would appreciate it. Thanks for all you help. Pat

Looking for information on Mary Catherine TOWNSEND, b ca 1819 in OH (probably SE OH, ie. Belmont Co or surrounding counties). I have no information on her other than she married William J. WELLS on 29 May 1838 in Harrison Co, OH, settled in Belmont Co, OH, and had 10 children. Since the WELLS were Quaker, the TOWNSEND family may also be Quakers. Any information/leads greatly appreciated! Sharon
Would like to work with someone who is descended from Peter or Thomas Brewer who died in the 1850's in Indiana Co., PA. They are brothers of my Daniel who died in Belmont Co., Ohio in 1842. They had sisters, Christina, Margret, Mary, Elizabeth and Sarah. Sarah is my ancestor. Chrstina married a Brady and the other three were married to Hendrix, Hendricks or Henwiche. Not sure of husband's names. Brother Henry died in Westmoreland Co., in 1825. Daniel Jr. and maybe John died in Belmont Co, Ohio. No infor on Abraham, Christine, Margaret, Mary, or Elizabeth. There used to be a funeral home in Bellaire on Noble Street in the same building where the old Bellaire Clinic used to be. I'm not sure of the street number, but I think it may have been 42nd St. It is the same street the Bellaire Swimming pool is on. I'm not sure of the spelling, but it was something like "Treveas Funeral Home." I am looking for the records of that funeral home. Does anyone know if they exist and where they might be found? My great grandfather's funeral was held there about 1936. A cousin remembers going to the funeral. His name was John Cizeweski (many spellings). My grandparents, William and Mae Hughes lived about two houses from this funeral home. Dan Grammer
