    3. A Listing of Entrymen on Lands In Belmont Co., Ohio By: L. Richard Kocher, Columbus, Ohio Woolkoch Publishing, 1996. This man has done a excellent job of showing each township in the county. By using this book and the Range, Township number and Section number from any land record you can easily determine where the land your ancestor owned was located. He also has done books for Jefferson, Washington, Morgan Counties and other Ohio counties. I recommend this book highly for Belmont County research. It does not show towns, villages etc. I use these books each time I'm in the library. Harriet M. Herrington

    3. St. Mary’s Cemetery, Temperanceville, Belmont Co., OH This is a partial listing of persons buried in the cemetery as transcribed on July 30, 2000 by Netti Nau. The list was done to aide in my genealogy search; and due to time constraint many surnames were not read including: Armbruster, Brown, Butler, Carpenter, DeLong, Doyle, Jefferis, McCort, Poulton, and Yonley. In order to have consistent format on this recording, dates were not always transcribed in the format written on the tombstone. Unfortunately there are numerous tombstones that are in need of families re-doing them before they are like others that are unreadable. I'm particularly interested in Nicholas Bumgardner and the father of Sarah Fortner (it is said her last name was really Falconer). When you get a chance - no big hurry. Thanks, John Nancy Peoria, IL
