Only about 1/3 of these are identified, but I really think most of these are Morris' people. They probably originally came from my Aunt Myrtle Denny who also lived in Barnesville with my Uncle Bert. 1. Abashi Thomas
    2. I am looking for information on his wife Rachel Fisher. Abashi was born abt February 1833 and married Rachel in 1883. She must have died between the 1900 census and 1909 when he married Sophia Arnold Taylor. He might have married in between 1900 and 1909 as he said this was his 3rd marriage, but in 1900 he had only one marriage. They were living in Somerset Township, Belmont Co., Ohio. Abashi's mother was Rachel W. Barnes, if this helps any. Anyway, I am trying to prove parentage of Rachel. Thanks, Jerilyn

    2. Thanks for answering. I am trying to find some descendants of this family. Judith's maiden name was Lappin and she was a sister to my great great great grandfather. I think Judith died before 1860. Joseph was first married to Hannah Harry in 1825 in Belmont Co., OH. They had two children William, born 1826 and Sarah, born 1828. Hannah died and then Joseph married Judith Lappin in 1831 in Guernsey Co., OH. They had John, Knight, Elizabeth, Thomas C., Hannah, Mary J., Rachel & Ruth A. After Judith died he married Elizabeth Denbow Wise and had Levi, Rebecca J., Anna Marie and one unnamed. He died about 1868 in Monroe Co., Ohio. I have only been able to trace two of these 15 children and Knight followed an aunt to Fulton Co., Illinois where he died young and the other was Thomas Clinton Fisher who was the first mayor of Chesterhill as well as a coroner and a soldier in Civil War. Joseph was from a long line of Quakers and his first marriage was to a Quaker women. He then married Judith, whose mother was Quaker, but evidently she wasn't. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. 3. Sandra I have tried unsuccessfully on a couple of occasions to find information on my Hess and Roseman ancestors several of whom are burried in Linwood cemetery. I have an elderly Aunt who still lives in Bridgeport (Father's sister). She has been treated very rude and unkind by the man who supposedly is in charge of whatever records exist. I was very unhappy about that. I live in Mansfield and do not get to that area very often. I would really like for someone local to investigate the record situation. Both sets of my Grandparents on that side are in this cemetery. I would like to know where they are located. You'll also discover that it is in/near Blaine, Ohio. Then, for driving instructions you can go to mapquest http://www.mapquest.com/ fill in the town, Blaine, and Ohio, and you'll be given a current map of the location of Blaine. 1. Sarah J. Crumley / James W. Edwards
    2. Laurence E. Dickerson
    3. I am looking for information on Sarah J. Crumley and James W. Edwards who were married in Belmont County on 27 February 1868. Sarah was the daughter of John Crumley and Eleanor Gray, who were also married in Belmont County and, at the time of the 1850 census, were living in Colerain Township. Eleanor died 18 July 1851 and is buried across the county line at the Seceder Cemetery in Mount Pleasant, Jefferson County. In 1860 John Crumley, daughter Sarah and son George were living with John's father in Harrison County. Sarah married James Edwards in Belmont County and in 1880 they were residents of Colerain Township. She was born c. 1845 and James was born c. 1847/8. They had at least two daughters, both born in Belmont County: Eliza Ellen, born 29 August 1869 and Mary Jane, born 8 August 1871. I have checked the 'Tombstone Inscriptions of Belmont County' book without finding them. Does anyone know whether James and Sarah appear on a subsequent census or if they are buried in Belmont County? If they are, I would presume they would be in Colerain Township, or perhaps they, too, would be across the line in Jefferson County. I don't have access to that book. --Larry Dickerson
