The Sampubco site is excellent for getting copies of old wills that you can then transcribe. They're limited in what they have, but they have quite a few from Belmont Co. and have a link on the Belmont Co. Genealogy Society site, accessible through the usgenweb Belmont site. I've ordred wills for a number of my ancestors from them - the only difficulty is if there are several names the same, because you can't be sure which is which. I ordered one that turned out to be someone else, but the price isn't too bad, so it wasn't a major disaster. If you feel pretty confident that you can tell which name is your ancestor, and you need the will, I highly recommend them. Joanne Gaudio, Edwards and Price families in Belmont Co.
I found these two there in Belmont Co. as well as others. LASHLEY, JOSEPH SR. MEAD OH-7-B-372 LASHLEY, SARAH NTL OH-7-K-176 What is neat about this web site is that after someone buys the will from him, the content is posted on his web site, I think. That was my impression anyway. When I got copies of these wills in the '90s, they were only $1. a page at the probate courthouse in St. Clairsville.
