Hi, I researched the Athens County land records. They start at 1800. You will be able to barrow them from your local Family History Center. Look at their Locality File on the fiche. Go to United States, Ohio, Athens County. Look at that index to see what year you want to order. Use the order number to have them send for the film. Cost about $3.50 takes 2-3 week to get it back They have tax records & many many other types of records. They have microfilmed almost all of the courthouses in the United States. Many books like County Histories. Athens County had one in 1888 I have it on order. It's been 4 weeks. Have you looked at the book list at the Athens County Historical Society & Museum? They have done a lot of cemeteries. The link is on my Athens Co. OHGenWeb site. http://www.rootsweb.com/~ohgenweg/oh/athens.htm Joy Hyde List owner .You do not have to be a member. They will have these FHC in most medium sized towns. These are the films you would see if you web to Salt Lake City. Need to call and see when they are open..
