Matilda BISHOP b 1836 d 1909 first married to George STANLEY. They had a daughter Henrietta (Etta) who married Isral SWARTZ. Isral was the son of William SWARTZ and Mary DAY. I've found several of them in Carthage Twp in the Ohio Census records. Isral and Henrietta's son Virgil b 1880, worked in the oil fields. He was sent to Wetzel Co, WV to work on a well. While there he met Myrtie VanDYNE and the rest was history. Virgil's obit stated that several siblings still lived in Athens Co. Would like to hear from anyone with these names.
