Dear Listers, I wanted to write and thank those of you who offered information in my search for an adopted child born in Athens, Ohio. I have recently been able to uncover the adoption story of Teresa Lynn Hardy, adopted Teresa Lynn Ransom. I also wanted to give credit to a woman named Cathy Cooper from Ohio University, Office of the President. Without the help of Cathy, I would still be seeking this adopted child. Although our search did not end in a happy reunion, we have been able to provide closure to a family filled with wonder. Teresa Lynn Ransom was shot and killed 15-20 years ago, by her husband, while living in Oregon. Although the ending to our search is indeed a tragic one and we have yet to find all the answers, it does put rest to years of wondering for this family.
