Thank you so much for having this surname request service. I have been looking all over creation for my Carsey line. I am specifically looking for John and Margaret Car(r)sey. I am descended from their oldest child Mary E. Carrsey who married William R. Butts. John and Margaret were born in Ireland. John was born about 1830 according to his age on the 1860 census. Margaret was born about 1838. I know from the Athens marriage records that Michael the only son in the family married in Athens as did Johanna Carsey. I don't know what happened to the youngest daughter Margaret or their parents after 1870. Can anyone help? Thanks again, Audrey Moran [email protected]
