Hi Terry, I have information on Lewis Davis COTTRILL lines. Actually I was very fortunate to find another researcher who had a very large file on COTTRILLs, which included my line. The file should still be on the internet. Don had noted that the file was compiled by a Jack Cottrill of Parkersburg, WV. Below is the section that lists your Lewis Davis Cottrill. Also this files has Lewis' ancestors 3 generations back. 116.LEWIS DAVIS COTTRILL (s/o 30.ANDREW COTTRILL; s/o 5.ANDREW COTTRELL; s/o 1.ANDREW COTTRELL) Lewis Davis Cottrill, a son of Andrew and Eliza Jane (Dailey) Cottrill, was born in Meigs County Ohio January 29, 1849 and died February 29, 1889. He married Annette Love August 27, 1870 in Meigs County. The couple moved to Macon County IL but returned to Vinton County Ohio. Annette apparently died about 1880. Lewis married Leasa Hortensia Radcliff December 26, 1881 in Vinton County. Children of Lewis Davis and Annette (Love) Cottrill. 308. (1).
