(This is my line of descent.); Joanna b abt 1822 Athens, married Charles GALEZIO 18 Sep 1838, Athens, Ohio. Does anyone out there connect? I know Daniel and his brother, Christopher are mentioned in several History books. They played a large part in the early building up of Athens County. I have the HERROLD line back to the early 1600's in Germany and am willing to share this data. I have done the work myself and know it is accurate as I searched through the old German Church Records via Microfilm. The Harper's are also mentioned in a few books. The immigrant was William Harper. He died 24 Dec 1830 in Athens County. His wife was Elizabeth. They had 7 known children. Their son Charles married Ann COOK parents unknown. They had 8 children, of whom one was Elizabeth. I am interested in all the children and their spouses. I am particularly drawn to the BARKER line. Two of William HARPER's daughters married BARKER brothers. Isabella HARPER married Michael BARKER, 1 Apr 1801, in Athens and her sister, Christinia married Isaac BARKER 10 Apr 1804 in Athens. Will share whatever I have with those researching these lines. Thanks! Linda DeFrees Franks Soda Springs, Idaho [email protected] [email protected]
