My answer maybe, some.. I see Jacob and John Bowser in Salem Township Muskingum Cty in 1810 but there is no record of a deed in the Washington cty Court House. Were the Ohio Company land records kept separate - I wonder If I asked the right questions. I did see Lewis Nye and Ichabod Nye listed as early purchasers of Ohio Company Land - before 1800 - the reference is one of the local history books - we looked at them at the OGS chapter in Marieta - so the anwser is yes.
