    3. Lima Daily News, Feb 28, 1914 Seven Divorces Granted Mrs. Grace CAMPBELL was granted a divorce from R.S. CAMPBELL on the grounds of wilful absence for a period of over three years. The plaintiff was authorized to resume the use of her former name. Ida S. LANG was granted a decree of divorce from Walter R. LANG on the grounds of wilful absence. Anna SMALE was divorced from Elmer E. SMALE, on the grounds of extreme cruelty. Former name restored to plaintiff. Extreme cruelty was the grounds made out by Bertha S. WILLIAMS in the suit for divorce from Horatio S. WILLIAMS. The decree was accorded the plaintiff. Elizabeth DAVIES was granted a decree of divorce from Edwin DAVIES on the grounds of adultery. The case was not contested. The plaintiff was directed to pay the costs and her former name, Elizabeth FELLOWS was restored. Flossie M. HILYARD was divorced from Charles E. HILYARD and was awarded $300 alimony. Extreme cruelty recorded as grounds for the divorce. Delno D. HELMSTETLER was granted a divorce from Catharine HELMSTETLER on the grounds of adultery. This case was not contested by the wife. Marriage Licenses Arthur Lester ESMONDE, 19, blacksmith helper, and Encie Irene WARD, 18. Wedded by Justice EVERETT. Edward JACOMET, 36, laborer, 427 north Jackson street, and Grace Loretta DEBO, 19, cigar maker, 640 north Main street. James M. SMITH, 39, farmer, of Columbus Grove, and Bertha Fay VANCE, 20, Beaverdam. The Rev. B. NICHOLS. The condition of Mrs. A.E. FREEMAN, of 528 west High street, who was stricken early Friday morning by paralysis, remains practically unchanged. She is still unconscious, and so serious does the attending physican regard the attack that the entire family has been sent for. This includes Mrs. WHITEBRED, of New York; Win FREEMAN, who is inspector of the land department of the Canadian Pacific, with headquarters at Chicago; Brice FREEMAN, engineer on the T.& O.C., residing at Columbus, and Mrs. David E. HARLAN, of Middletown, who arrived Friday to be with her sister here. Deaths and Funerals GRUMPHY- Seymour GRUMPHY, 46, who came to this city five years ago from Ada, and who has been employed by the Pennsylvania railroad company as a hostler, died at his late home, 113 east McKibben street, at 5 o'clock this morning, death resulting from heart trouble, after he had suffered an illness of about two weeks' duration. Deceased leaves wife and one brother. The funeral will be held Monday and the remains will be taken to Ada for burial. REED- The funeral services of William REED, 60, an inmate of the county infirmary, who died at the Lima hospital of pneumonia will be held Monday at 9:30 at the Williams & Davis undertaking parlors. REED was born in Shawnee township on January 18, 1854. VOTAW- Mrs. Sarah VOTAW, 79, died at 1:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter Mrs. John KLINE, 1136 Tanner avenue, of dropsy and heart trouble, Mrs. VOTAW had been seriously ill for seven months. She was born in Highland county on March 6, 1834. During a large part of her life she was a resident of Rockport, Ohio. She was twice married. Besides Mrs. KLINE, one son, Willis EXLINE, survives her death. On Monday the body will be accompanied to Rockport where the funeral services will be held. Burial will be there.
