She was born Dec. 29, 1947, in Ironton to Clariel and Rose Lemaster Nicely, who preceded her in death. On Sept. 9, 1968, she married Claude L. Crist, who survives. Mrs. Crist was a caregiver at Champaign Residential Services. She was a member of First Church of God. She loved her grandchildren. Survivors also include a son, Marc A. (Bobbie) Crist of Harrod; three daughters, Vicki S. (Todd) Ewing, Claudette K. (Richard) Lyons and Margaret L. Crist, all of Lima; four brothers, Paul Nicely, Justin Nicely and Dale Nicely, all of Lima, and Averal (Armida) Nicely of LeHigh Acres, Fla.; a sister, Barbara (Tony) Rodriquez of Lima; and 10 grandchildren, Amber Piper, Cody Piper, Megan Courtney, Cydney Lyons, Brock Lyons, Sabrina Crist, Jessie Crist, Brandi Crist, Amanda Crist and Trent Jones. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at Chiles & Sons-Laman Funeral Homes, Wayne Street Chapel. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Elida. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lupus Foundation.
